Last night I upgraded to wordpress 2.7. I have never had trouble upgrading before but there is a first time for everything and as the saying goes, tech happens. First thing make a back up – done with no trouble. Next begin uploading what I need to my hosting server. This is where trouble began. I could FTP some files but not others. This evening I attended the 2008 Edublog Awards. The event took place through a variety of tools Second Life ®, Skype, and Ed Tech Talk. The Eddies began 5 years ago and though there has been some dissension about the merit of these awards I enjoy them. They have helped me find new voices and expand my learning network. Teach 42 shared a video the Networked Student in Plain English. I think this is also an excellent example of the networked teacher. This illustrates very well how I work within my learning network and how we can continue to be life long learners in any area that we have interest. I have been an active member in the DEN in SL since the beginning. It has been and continues to be one of the best parts of my learning network.
