I have been so engrossed in SecondLife lately that I have neglected to write about free tools to use in education. VoiceThread is wonderful tool allowing the mix of images and audio, it also allows people to leave audio or text comments. It is well worth a look. I hope to spend some time experimenting once school.

It was a success!

I attend the Second Life conference on Best Practices in Education. This was a 24 hour event on May 25th, 1300 attended. It was like a typical convention – vendors, exhibits, presentation, but it was like no other. Where can 1300 people gather, share and chat from around the world while still at home, work or school.
