I have been involved in formal schooling as a student and educator for about 40 years, so you would think I know the purpose and goal of education.\u00a0 But as I became connected to other educators and began investigating technology and the tools that support learning something began to change. I was consumed by learning. In fact I think I have learned more in the last few years of my informal (non-traditional) learning then I did in much of my formal (schooled) education.\u00a0 Is this because I found my passion, maybe my confidence?\u00a0 Was it the connected learning? I found that I was rethinking what I believe about learning, school, and education.\u00a0 So I embarked on researching this area.\u00a0 I have been reading from a wide variety of perspectives and points of views, challenging my thinking and views on education.\u00a0 I am enjoying the process very much.<\/p>\n
